CONTRACT - Ruby on Rails Developer
Leading Luxury brand located in Midtown Manhattan is looking for skilled Ruby on Rails developer to join its Worldwide eBusiness team.
This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and highly skilled eBusiness team that is responsible for an eBusiness site that is generated in 13 countries and 8 languages. This is a fast moving group with great opportunity to make an immediate impact.

Required Skills:
1. Strong ecommerce experience (preferably retail) – 2 years
2. Strong Ruby on Rails – 2 years
3. RJS – 1 Year
4. ActiveRecord – 2 years
5. AJAX library (Prototype, Scriptaculous, JQuery, MooTools, etc.) – 1 year
6. MySQL – 1 year
7. SQL – 2 year
8. Javascript – 2 years
9. Ruby – 2 years
10. At least 3 years software development experience
11. Strong Interpersonal Skills with ability to communicate with technical and non-technical users
12. HTML – 2 years
Desirable Skills:
1. Mac OS X Leopard
2. RedHat Linux Enterprise Edition
3. HAML
4. SASS
5. Capistrano
6. CSS
